What to have ready when you call
You do not need everything figured out, but a few details let us quote faster and closer to the real number. If you have them handy, mention:
- Where you are moving from and to (street or at least the neighborhood and ZIP)
- The size of the place — studio, two-bedroom, three-bed house
- Stairs, elevators, or a long carry from the door to the truck
- Your target date, plus a backup if you have flexibility
- Anything heavy or awkward — a piano, a gun safe, a treadmill
- Whether you want us to pack, or just load and move
Quotes and walkthroughs
For most apartments and smaller homes we can quote a flat price over the phone in a few minutes. For larger houses, or downtown lofts with freight-elevator windows and tight dock times, Cody on our estimating side can do a quick video or in-person walkthrough so the written number is dead-on. There is no charge for the estimate, and the $99 deposit only comes into play once you decide to book your date.
