“Great Experience, the guys was on time, poliet and hard working no slacking.Moving is stressful. Their have a stress free move makes for a stress free day.”
Good packing is what keeps glasses and picture frames in one piece on a bumpy ride down I-40. We pad fragiles in real dish packs and mirror cartons, label every box by room, and keep an inventory so the unload goes fast. If you only want help with the breakable rooms, partial-pack covers exactly that and nothing more.
One Durham-specific note: our summers are hot and humid, and red-clay dust and moisture are hard on cardboard left sitting in a garage for weeks. We pack close to move day and use sturdy, dry boxes so a damp Piedmont July does not turn the bottom of a carton soft.
What packing costs
Packing is quoted on materials plus labor and written into your move price, so you see the full number before anyone tapes a box shut.
| Service | Starting price |
|---|---|
| Full-pack (materials + labor) | From $360 |
| Partial-pack (kitchen / fragiles) | Quoted by room |
| Dish packs & mirror cartons | Included in the pack quote |
| Unpack at destination | Available on request |
Full-pack starts at $360 for materials and labor. A $99 deposit holds your packing and move dates and applies to the total. Your boxed items carry the same up-to-$1,000,000 cargo coverage as the rest of your shipment.
What is not included
A few things sit outside the standard pack so the quote stays clear.
- The transport itself — packing is an add-on to your local or long-distance move, priced alongside it.
- Hazardous items we cannot legally load: propane, fuel, paint, ammunition, and the like.
- High-value art or antiques needing custom crating, which we quote separately.
- Hauling away the empty boxes after you unpack, unless you ask us to schedule a return pickup.
Tell our estimator how much you want to do yourself, and we scale the pack and the price to match.
