“Trey was great, I believe he was the main guy. He was fast, communicated well, made sure his other two guys were on thier toes ! They were fairly priced compared to other places. Would recommend again !”
Our storage is built for the in-between stretch of a move, not a year-long dead-storage unit you forget about. Goods go into wood vaults, get padded and inventoried, and stay in a climate-controlled space — which matters in the Piedmont, where a non-controlled unit can swing from a humid summer to a damp, near-freezing winter and warp wood or spot upholstery.
It is handy in a few common Durham situations: a closing-gap of a week or two, staging an empty house to sell while your furniture waits, or a downtown loft renovation that runs long. Whatever the reason, your inventory is logged, so you know exactly what came in and what goes back out.
What storage costs
Storage is billed per vault per month, so a small one-bedroom and a four-bed house do not pay the same flat rate.
| Storage detail | Price |
|---|---|
| Climate-controlled vault | From $49 / month each |
| Move-in to storage | Quoted with your move |
| Re-delivery from storage | Scheduled when you are ready |
| Inventory & padding | Included |
Vaults start at $49 per month, climate-controlled. A $99 deposit holds your move and storage dates and applies to the total. Stored goods stay covered up to $1,000,000 per shipment while they are in our care.
What is not included
So the monthly number stays simple, a few things are quoted on their own.
- The move into and out of storage — those legs are priced with your local or long-distance job.
- Long-term or warehouse-archive storage; our focus is the short-term gap between homes.
- Storing hazardous or perishable items — fuel, propane, food, plants, and the like cannot go in a vault.
- Specialty handling for a piano or safe going into storage, from $349.
Tell our office roughly how long you need and how big the home is, and we quote the vaults and the in-and-out moves together.
